I have been going to 2xTap for about 3 years now and have nothing but exceptional things to say. John Harrell has taught me everything from Basic Pistol classes to one on one Rifle Marksmanship to simulator time. His vast variety in knowledge, weapons safety, and overall handling and accuracy has taken me from a basic citizen to a marksman military member. He has the background to work with any type of shooter and meet all types of goals. If you have any interest in beginner to advanced shooting, this is your place to go and John Harrell is your guy. Overall, highly recommend. I can’t wait to do more in the future!

The 2XTAP Essential Carry Basics class proved immensely beneficial to me, particularly as a novice eager to grasp firearm fundamentals and safety protocols. This course is remarkably thorough, covering legal considerations, foundational gun handling techniques, live fire exercises, and much more. John Harrell, our instructor, brings a wealth of experience to the table, alongside a personable demeanor and a knack for weaving intriguing gun history into the curriculum. While my initial goal was to attain proficiency and responsibility as a gun owner, the course exceeded my expectations, offering invaluable insights. I wholeheartedly endorse this class and look forward to further training with John Harrell and the 2XTAP Shooting Academy.

The beauty in this kind of training is that you get to enter the realm of “what if”.  Self defense trainers for years have been telling students to imagine scenarios and try to figure out how they would react to those scenarios.  With RMFiTS, you can get dropped right into the scenario and practice.

I highly recommend the FiTS experience for anyone who owns or carries a firearm for self-defense, as well as law enforcement and military personnel who want to hone their skills with some extra practice.

Absolutely fabulous!!! Takes training to a whole new level and a definite recommended for anyone looking to take a concealed carry course.  This is a  great training tool for both the experienced shooter and the novice.  I loved every minute!

FiTS is the place you want to go to get great instruction, confidence in shooting, and use state of the art equipment.  A lot of gun shops and services lack the enthusiasm that John brings to the table.  I challenge any person to do this, it’s worth it.

The system is absolutely fantastic.  It’s a phenomenal training tool for everything from home defense to LEO and for every skill level. On top of that, it’s a blast. John is an excellent instructor and a top notch fella.  Time spent here is time well spent and worth every penny.
